2007 MICKEY MANTLE LEAGUE ALL STAR GAME PLANS
All star game information
Our
Mickey Mantle baseball all-star game will be held on Monday August 6TH
at Brookside Talty Field beginning at 7:00 p.m. The all-star game will
be a 7-inning game. If tied after 7 innings, only 1 more inning will be
played.
SELECTION OF PLAYERS AND COACHES
(Will
be determined by the current standings as of the
morning on July 13, 2006)
American All-star Manager: First place team’s manager.
National All-star Manager: First place team’s manager.
American Coaches: Team’s managers of 2ND, 3RD and
4TH place teams in their division.
National Coaches: Team’s managers of 2ND, 3RD
and 4TH place teams in their division.

Selection: fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth ninth and tenth teams
Note:
The manager may select two more players after July 23RD to
add to the team.
Only one
additional player may come from his team.
Managers are to
call the League Director at (216) 664-2346 by July 17th.

Note: All-star
practice will be held on Wednesday August 1ST at Talty Field
(National all stars) and at Brookside Rozanski Field (American all
stars) at 6:00 p.m.
Players are to bring their
own bat and catcher’s gear.
Uniforms: Each player
and coach will receive an all-star shirt for this game. Players are to
wear their own team uniform except for their jersey.

Cleveland Baseball Federation Our Mission
The Mission of the Cleveland Baseball Federation is to provide the necessary funding so that the City of
Cleveland Youth can enjoy playing the game of baseball. In addition to funding, The Cleveland Baseball Federation shall provide the necessary leadership to ensure that these baseball programs contain components which promote social and educational values that the sport of baseball fosters.
It shall provide participants with social awareness programs such as alcohol, tobacco, and drug abuse, teen pregnancy, conflict resolutions, and educational opportunities. It shall also assist the City of Cleveland Recreation Department in the administration of its entire sandlot program
