The Mickey Mantle League consists of 19 total teams!

Playoff Plans:      The top 8 teams in each division are in the single elimination playoffs.     

                             THE TEAM WITH BEST RECORD IS HOME DURING THE PLAYOFFS.

Awards:                Division Winner receives a team trophy.

                             Playoff Winner receives a team trophy + individual plaques for players.

 

Our All Star Game:            Our all-star game is on Monday Aug. 6TH at Brookside Talty Field.

                                      The American all stars vs. the National all stars at 7:00 p.m.p.m.

 

Championship Game:        Our league’s championship game will be videotaped by TV 23.

                                      It will be shown on the Time Warner Cable Network – Channel 23.

 

We are not sending our representative to a state tournament.

Cleveland Baseball Federation Our Mission

 

The Mission of the Cleveland Baseball Federation is to provide the necessary funding so that the City of Cleveland Youth can enjoy playing the game of baseball.  In addition to funding, The Cleveland Baseball Federation shall provide the necessary leadership to ensure that these baseball programs contain components which promote social and educational values that the sport of baseball fosters.

 

It shall provide participants with social awareness programs such as alcohol, tobacco, and drug abuse, teen pregnancy, conflict resolutions, and educational opportunities.  It shall also assist the City of Cleveland Recreation Department in the administration of its entire sandlot program
