CLEVELAND’S LITTLE F BASEBALL PROGRAM 

 PLAN OF PLAY FOR DUGGAN PARK

 

The Little F baseball’s League

at Duggan Park Field # 1

consists of 4 teams!

 

                             Duggan Park Captains                           Duggan Park Indians

                             Duggan Park Cardinals                          Duggan Park Tigers          

                                                         

                                                        

Breakdown of games:   Each team will play each opponent three times = A total of 9 games

 

Playoff Plans:                The top team qualifies for the single elimination city playoffs.  

COIN FLIP WILL DETERMINE THE HOME TEAM IN THE PLAYOFFS.

 

ROUND ONE:                 First round playoff games will be played on Wednesday July 20^TH

 

ROUND TWO:                 Second round playoff games will be played on Monday July 23^RD.

 

ROUND THREE:             Third round playoff games will be played on Wednesday July 25^TH

 

CITY CHAMPIONSHIP GAME: Wednesday August 1 at Brookside Rose Field at 6:45 p.m.

                                     

Tiebreaker Guidelines: If it is for first place –

1.)          Head to Head Competition

2.)          One game playoff

 

Other team ties that do not involve first place –

1.)          Head to Head Competition

2.)          If teams split – least runs given up in head to head games

3.)          Coin Flip

 

Awards:                Park Champion receives a team trophy.

                             City Champion and City Runner-up receive individual trophies for their players.

Cleveland Baseball Federation Our Mission

The Mission of the Cleveland Baseball Federation is to provide the necessary funding so that the City of Cleveland Youth can enjoy playing the game of baseball.  In addition to funding, The Cleveland Baseball Federation shall provide the necessary leadership to ensure that these baseball programs contain components which promote social and educational values that the sport of baseball fosters.

 

It shall provide participants with social awareness programs such as alcohol, tobacco, and drug abuse, teen pregnancy, conflict resolutions,and educational oppurtunities.  It shall also assist the City of Cleveland Recreation Department in the administration of its entire sandlot program
